Well, we are not, for sure, a place for refined haute cuisine, rather the plough is a place for relaxed enjoyment where we offer you simple , high quality food that comes as close as possible, to the meals that would be prepared by the finest cooks at a price that encourages you to visit us regularly.
The real origins of The Plough are somewhat lost in time, probably in several pints of beer, but nowadays in Mountnessing Essex, we are a bastion of good eating, drinking, locally and informally.
