The Plough Bar and Restaurant in Mountnessing, Essex is now under the direction of The Lot Group in Shenfield. The Plough has recently undergone a major refurbishment exchanging the previous dark navy colour scheme for a more inviting cream and brown decor. The Plough now also features Al Fresco dining in the Summer months. Located on the old Roman Road in Mountnessing with the windmill opposite and views across open countryside this is an ideal stopping point for a refreshing drink, snack or something more substantial.

Open for breakfasts, lunch and dinner the Plough is open from 8.00am until late Monday to Saturday and from 10.00am on Sundays. The Plough will always give you the kind of welcome that The Lot group are building their reputation on. Serving Modern British cuisine along with their Snacks, there is bound to be something on offer which stimulates your appetite.
